When you are painting a rental property, you need to focus on neutral colors. Not only do you want to enhance a property’s curb appeal but you want the interior to be a draw as well. That is why the choice of paint colors is important. However, before you spruce up your rental property with paint, you need to make sure that you have it looking clean and neat. That means removing trash, debris, or weeds and manicuring the lawn and shrubbery.
Clean up Any Debris or Clutter First
Make sure that you replace torn window screens or chipped paint and check the light fixtures and numbers as well. If they are not in the best of shape, it does not cost much money to make an upgrade. Garbage and recycling receptacles should be placed in a spot that is not visible too.

Also, remember not to paint the exterior and interior the same color. Instead, vary the hues by a couple shades. While neutrals may not be as exciting as a baby blue color, for example, they still offer a feeling of security and warmth. They also make it possible to keep your costs within a reasonable range, as mentioned.
